On their last adventure at the “Angels in Paradise”, a family had been kidnapped and the Angels had been sent over to rescue them from their abductors but along the way they discover that the abductors had some bigger plans in mind. The abductors are using the kidnapping as part of a bigger scheme to target a Wall Street titan’s wife and son. Meanwhile Charlie had urged Abby to reconnect with her father after five years when the Townsend Agency had seen his connection with the latest case handled by the agency. Abby reluctantly agrees to the plan knowing that she has to address some lingering issues between her and her father. Sometimes if your work for an investigative agency you have to set aside or deal with your feelings so that it will not interfere with the case you would be handling.
