There were very realistic moments in the show. Chris and Reagan having to watch a video of a birth taking place had them looking in horror. And another very funny but realistic scene was when Reagan had to be persuaded to take the pain killers.

Reagan didn’t yell that much on Chris while she was in labor. Maybe it was because he was sweet with his bed side antics that she forgot. His humor has always been his strong point but his emotional side came into play in this episode and the creators did well to balance the two.

Another area where the creators should be commended is with Ava’s character. She was not really there in the pilot episode but her jokes came out so naturally this time around and they were timely in their delivery. Maya was mercurial in this episode and every thing she did was hilarious. Missy got more screen time as if in answer to the yearnings of fans and she did not disappoint with her lines.

This show announced itself with this episode. The start was a bit rocky, but now it’s as if it has made up space for itself and there is nothing really stopping it from growing.
